Rainbow and butterflies!

Hi!

Another quick card made with resist embossing technique... I am glad that you people are liking my new projects.. :) Your comments keeps me motivated to do my best.. :)

Here I have blended 3 colors to give a multicolored background effect... I created the green color effect by blending yellow and blue distress ink... I used my doily punch for the first time.. my 1st MS punch!!! yay!!! :)... I distressed that too so that it should match with the pattern I created...

I goofed up here also. Noticed the big butterfly? Its placed there so as to hide a partially embossed butterfly as again I rubbed off  half of the embossing powder :( I will be extra careful next time onward.. :)

Supplies used:
Distess inks: Barn door red, Faded jeans blue, wild honey yellow
Carstock: White blank CS from Creativita's store,
Fabriano Brustro painting paper(300gsm) for resist embossing
Stamp: Antique Engravings from Hero arts, Butterfly Magic from Fiskars
Embossing powder: Ranger's clear EP
Punch: MS Doily Lace punch
Pearls: Itsy Bitsy

2. Simon says stamp - Something new (I have used my Doily punch for the 1st time)

This is a beautiful creation, and looks wonderful, but in order to join in the challenges at House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge, you need to use a House Mouse Design stamp of either the mice, bears, or bunnies.

Loved the bright and vibrant colors!!
technical q..how does the embossing powder rub off? once you've embossed it (melted it) it should never rub off..no matter how hard you distress it..
Its a stunning card and if you had not told me about the goof up, I wouldn't have know it!
