Always - Shabby accordion card

Hi All,


I made another accordion card this week... this time in Pink! and I couldn't dare to try circle shape again.. It takes hell lot of time.. so I opted an easy shape.. Square! Now check it out...

and a look from inside..

The tags can be pulled out to write messages..

I made a box too to keep the card in..

A girly gift on New year

Hi All,

Sharing another desktop calendar.. It will be a great gift idea on New Year... Or one can decorate her workstation with this helpful desktop calendar which has a drawer too..

I loved it alot 'coz of its colors and I embellished it well... A closure look...

This is how it will look with top flap and the drawer open... its a 4 x 4 inches drawer with 1 inch in height... One can store her little notes and items in it...

Once year 2012 is over one can close the open flap and use it as normal drawer box... :D...

Calendar 2012

Hello!

Here I am with a gift idea for the Christmas and to welcome the new year 2012!!! Check it out...

Its an easel calendar with a box... I always wanted to try these desktop calendars and this was the right time to make some... I made four of these.. :D I will share each one by one...

Also, I wanna say Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuu! to  my dear friends Hussena and Kalindi who were of great support when I needed the most... They sent me some awesome craft stuff as RAK...  Also, they noticed the things I don't have and sent me instantly! I was looking for white gel pen for so long and now I have two  :P You gals rock!

Dots, strips and a tag

Hello all!

How are you friends? I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. Today I want to share a box I made recently. I kept the theme of ICR's new challenge in my mind while making it. So here it is with the details. Its a Trinket box with a window and a lock.

Here is the top view.

I bought few readymade paper roses and fused bead strings and coincidentally they were matching so I choose the color Lavender and its shades. The frame was lying with me for a long time, so thought making a window for the box. I weaved the quilling strips to make the mesh. 

I bought these flowers at a local handicraft exhibition. Decorated them with some fused beads string.

 The front has a lock. I used a small square piece of Velcro and glued a paper flower on one side to hide the Velcro  I used very small piece of it so that it opens with a little pull without tearing anything :D

and here is the cute small tag to write names of the giver and receiver.

Boxes.. Boxes and More Boxes...!

Back again... Today I am here with a set of boxes! Not one or two but 4!
Note: its a picture heavy post!

I got the idea of fringing punches and die cut flowers from this post by karthika Sen. I just added another quilled fringed flower on top ;)

F.R.I.E.N.D.S accordian card in a box

Hello!

Sorry for not catching up the pace of this bloggyland... I was trying to write this post for a long time but some of the other problem kept coming my way... anyways... finally I am posting it now…

Today I am posting the project that I finished last weekend for CraftyJC Challenge #8: Friends are Forever. We are celebrating Friendship this time.

I made this mini accordion F.R.I.E.N.D.S card with tag inserts and also a matching box to keep the card safe.

Here it is…………………..

The front of the card... Die cuts are RAK from Ash from ICR... Flower is handmade by me.. (again itsy bitsy ;))

I left the upper side of the pattern paper open to insert these message tags...



Since one of the requirement of the challenge was to give the card to any of your dearest friend, I decided to give this card to one of my non-bloggy friend... let me keep the name a secret till I give this card to her.. She visits my blog often... She will be soon leaving the city or say country for a long term commitment... I will miss her very much...

and hey! My candy is still open... I was waiting for some of my craft supplies to arrive... *Hint* *Hint*!!!
