Still some scraps where left so I made a tag too.

I made this card keeping in mind following challenges:
ICRC12 - Dots, Strips and a tag
Colorconceptions - Use scraps effectively

Thanks for looking,
Good night!

Its very late in night but have to post about a card of mine... that is again on the ICR's new challenge theme.. that is Dots and strips + a tag... Here it is:

Along with the tag, I made its matching envelope too.. That black stamp is from MICIA stamps that I won at ICR event sponsored by Crafting queen store. Thank Karuna, I had a good time playing with it.
A close look:

I have got loads of stickers  that I bought locally and wanted to finish it off as they are just occupying my craft space... So you might see a sea of stickers on my upcoming projects... Those red hearts are puffy stickers...
I have also decorated the inside too. have a look:

Supplies used:
Cardstock: Red (local buy), White (Fabriano Brustro)
Stamps: Fiskars all year cheers and MICIA
Heart embellishments: local buy
Doily punch: Kavitha's craft store

Dots, strips and a tag

Hello all!

How are you friends? I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. Today I want to share a box I made recently. I kept the theme of ICR's new challenge in my mind while making it. So here it is with the details. Its a Trinket box with a window and a lock.

Here is the top view.

I bought few readymade paper roses and fused bead strings and coincidentally they were matching so I choose the color Lavender and its shades. The frame was lying with me for a long time, so thought making a window for the box. I weaved the quilling strips to make the mesh.

I bought these flowers at a local handicraft exhibition. Decorated them with some fused beads string.
The front view.

The front has a lock. I used a small square piece of Velcro and glued a paper flower on one side to hide the Velcro  I used very small piece of it so that it opens with a little pull without tearing anything :D

and here is the cute small tag to write names of the giver and receiver.

Apart from ICRC12, I want to participate in following challenges too.

Crafty ribbons challenge - Anything but a card
Fussy and fancy challenge - Make a gift/Anything but a card
Squiggle stamps - Anything but a card

That's it folks. Please leave a comment if you liked it or any other suggestion and feedback.
Thanks for looking!

Love,

An inspiration for the 1st challenge at "For the love of crafting" blog

Hello friends,

Sorry for MIA for a while... but I am back ... Today I will share the wall hangings that I made as a GD for Kavitha’s new blog “for the love of crafting”. For the first monthly challenge, the theme is “Hanging out”. You are supposed to make something that can be hung. It can be a tree ornament , door hanger, wreath or a wall hanging or any other project of your choice. Also, you can use any technique and material. It can be a painting, crochet, embroidery, clay work, paper crafts etc.
There is  a fab prize too for the winner, a paper craft kit!!! So hurry up!

I made a set of three mini wall hangings which can be hang together or separately. Now the detailed photo of each wall hanging.

I cut a brown textured card stock into stripes and weaved them to make the base of wall hanging.
The green swirls are drawn and cut by hands. Used some fused pearl strings as butterflies trails.

Made few paper flowers from Itsy Bitsy paper petals. All 3 wall hangings are 4 x 4 inches in size. you can arrange these in any way you want.

Supplies used:
Brown cardstock: Local buy
Flowers: Handmade by me
Butterflies: Itsy Bitsy
Fused pearl strings: A1 craft supplies
Bling and beads: Local buy

Now take out all your craft material and make something to hang. For further details, rules and other inspirations check out the blog.

Linking this to following challenges too:

Create me pink - Flower power
Crafty anns challenge blog - Floral frenzy
Frosted designs - Embossing (Used dry embossing to make flowers)
Crafty ribbons challenge - Anything but a card

Happy crafting,
Priya...
