One Crafty birthday

Hey it was my birthday yesterday and I had loads of fun and you must be wondering why I titled this post as “One crafty Birthday”?

Here is the story…

Everyone here knows that I am so obsessed with my paper craft hobby now a day’s. So, my dear ones gave a very sweet surprise to me. They took me to a place which was quite far from our place. I couldn’t recognize the roads as I have been there only once. They stopped at a place and blind folded me. Directed me to a shop like that till I stepped into it. When I was actually inside the shop they asked me to open my eyes and just imagine where I was??? I was in itsy bitsy!!! They gave me 1.5K gift voucher and asked me to start the shopping!!!

So just imagine for a craft addicted what it would feel like. And the staff there knew it’s my b’day and everyone there wished me. It was a birthday of its kind that I can never forget. I enjoyed my day to the core.

Here is what I purchased.

 A wide view...

Some blooms...

 Some bling...

Some embellishments.... feathers, brads, twine, stems, etc

Blank cards and envelopes...

and a whole lot of handmade cardstock, patterned papers, craft papers, etc

Also, I have very good news to share with you and for that I will have a dedicated post tomorrow. Because I am so much happy now days (touchwood) I have something very special for all of you. So please visit my blog tomorrow for a sweet surprise. J

Till then happy crafting!

My own space.. My blog...My 1st post..

Hi all,

From a long time I was dreaming of having my own space on this web where I can share my creative ideas and learn from all the crafters around the world who have already mastered in their respective crafting field. But this blog idea of mine was hitting hard by my fear of not able to maintain it.

Now, I think it is high time to start writing and sharing through this little space of mine. I will keep you posted about my latest creations, creative happenings in my life and other crafting thoughts...

Before starting this wonderful journey, I would like to thank my family and friends who were with me all through my good and the bad times and giving me the strength to not just survive but to live through the toughest time.

As they say "When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.... "

Lot more is on the way... Keep watching this space for more... :)
