ICR “RE-CREATIONAL” BLOG HOP!

ICR turns a YEAR OLDER tomorrow…..

A room full of creative Indian crafters... A platform where we all meet, greet and share our love for crafting... I owe alot to ICR as I started my journey of crafting from here... with a lot of support and motivation from the  lovely members, I started this blog and since then there is no looking back... Thank you so much ICR!!! and Happy Birthday!!!!

Isn't it calls for a big celebration?

We are having considerably a BIG BLOG HOP termed as “Re-Creational” Blog Hop! And this is to celebrate all our GUEST DESIGNERS at Indian Craft Room for the year 2011…. YAY!

We are RE-CREATING the MAGIC that paved our way to being the Guest Designers for the respective challenges on ICR for the year 2011….

You should have arrived here from our very talented and my dear friend Priyadarshini Deshpande's blog.
If not make sure you begin the re-creational hop from the INDIAN CRAFT ROOM!

I was on cloud 9 when I was selected as GD for my card I made for ICRC5 where the theme was to interpret the word RAIN + deck up the inside or an envelope.

And I made this card with my very basic craft supplies.

You can find more details about the card here

Based on the same theme, I made a Bitsy bluebell card...  The clouds are hand drawn and colored with Faber Castel water color pencils. The tiny hearts are leftovers that Jovita sent me along with decorative circles die-cuts which I used in my telescopic cards.. And the big hearts are stickers.

RULES TO THE HOP:
  •  Make sure you hop around to each designer from the START {ICR} & leave your thoughts in the comments section, on every SPACE.
  • Like the Indian Craft Room PAGE on Face Book!

There are prizes awarded to blog hoppers who fulfill the above criterion. There will be 2 winners each for the 2 prizes sponsored….

We are generously sponsored by Khyati’s Store & Sudha’s Store, respectively!

 Lovely craft goodies from Khyati!
Eyelet setter from Sudha!

The blog hop will be OPEN through Wednesday, February 29, 2012 @ 11:59 pm IST. Winners will be announced on ICR on Thursday as well as all the “RE-CREATIONAL” MAGIC blogs.

So be sure you leave, love & like!

We are having a GRAND CELEBRATIONS PARTY at the INDIAN CRAFT ROOM, all day tomorrow…… with lots of games & prizes sponsored by few well known sponsors like Scraps N More [PIALI] & Itsy Bitsy!

Come over to the party for a Once in a While chance to win, to get to know your fellow crafters & your TEAM & for all the surprises your way!

All the games & events will be listed at the INDIAN CRAFT ROOM!

Catch up with you on ICR tomorrow…. : D. Now hop on to the blog of next GD blog and my dearest craft buddy Hussena Calcuttawala!

Hi Priya, nice to visit ur blog. I share the same feeling as you have mentioned in the first few lines of your post. I feel sooo very lucky to be a part of ICR, where I get to learn so much from creative crafters like you.
And congrats for being selected as GD for the Rain Theme card, you really deserve it.
As for the Bitsy bluebell card, although the clouds are handmade, you have achieved the desired effect and the hearts symbolizing the rain, have given a 'LOVE-ly' effect!
